Hi, all.

There are 3 common types of text-based e-learning tools, namely the blog, wiki and online discussion board. Although they seem similar, they have different uses.Blogs are used mainly for personal reflection. Wiki is used mainly for collaboration and online discussion board is used mainly for exchange of ideas and view.

Do visit the Edublog.org. You can set up the blog here and visit other teachers' blog for some ideas. Most of the teachers are using the edublog to supplement their teaching (at E learning Level 2).

How to Change Blogger Template

The XML will allow you to change the font size and colour. Just click on Fonts and colour as shown.

Please take note that if you blog skin is in HTML format and not XML format, you will need to click as "Revert to Classic Template" found at the bottom. In this case, you are only able to change the colour and font if you edit the html directly.

Blogs : Ending Isolation

This research paper presents a case study on how blogging can help USA teachers to help one another when they embark on new instructional practice "Support Literacy" program. After a 3 day workshop (face-to-face), the teachers were to blog about their experiences in implementing such programsin their schools. They can ask for help and maybe get some inspiration from other experience (social constructivist ' way of learning). This is a E-learning level 4 as the learners meet face to face and generate much of the content online.
